Mission Statement

The Mission of UTRTCA is to:

– Promote responsible dog ownership, breeding, and exhibiting of Teddy Roosevelt Terriers in United Kennel Club's events;
– Encourage, educate, and promote health testing and continued study of health issues relative to our breed;
– Promote the United Kennel Club breed standard for the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier;
– Foster camaraderie and good sportsmanship;
– Provide education at all levels for persons interested in the breed;
–  Conduct UKC sanctioned events;
– Promote participation in all UTRTCA and UKC events and;
– Advocate and assist in rescue of Teddy Roosevelt Terriers.
