The United Teddy Roosevelt Terrier Club of America does not endorse any particular breeder. Please do your due diligence and inquire about health testing on parent dogs when looking for a new pup.
The recommended health testing for the breed is:
- Basic Cardiac (once a year old)
- Patella (once a year old)
- PLL & CDDY status via a DNA panel (Embark, Wisdom Panel, etc)
Any breeder doing the recommended health testing does not mind providing proof and are happy to answer any of your health related questions.
You are also welcome to email the Club at utrtca@gmail.com for specific health questions.
